ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation invites residents, business owners and Highway 71 travelers to attend a public event on Nov. 17 and share ideas about the future of Highway 71 in south Sauk Centre.
MnDOT is studying how people use Highway 71 today, whether they drive, walk or bike. What we learn from the study will help guide planning for a future project in 2034 to reconstruct Highway 71 from the south junction of Highway 28 and 410th Street to just north of Interstate 94 at 12th Street South/Stearns County Road 186.
Project team members will be available to answer questions, discuss potential design concepts and gather feedback.
