Latest news releases

MARSHALL, Minn. – Crews will begin a tree-planting project along the Hwy 19 road construction corridor in Marshall starting Monday, Aug. 10, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

The project runs from Legion Field Park to just east of Bruce Street along Hwy 19.  No detour is required, but traffic lanes may shift.  Motorists are asked to slow down and watch for workers.

For updated project information, map, and a link to the tree selections, visit the project website.

Planting is expected to continue through November.  Hoffman and McNamara Company are the contractors for the $277,616 project, which is funded and coordinated separately from the Hwy 19 reconstruction.
